Dr. Sanjay Srivastava is Head of Department of Civil Engineering. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering with more than 35 years in teaching and 30 years in research. His teaching is devoted to Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Kinesiology and Biomedical Engineering in undergraduate and postgraduate studies (master and doctoral). His research interests include Kinesiology, EMG Studies, Occupational Health, Consciousness Studies, and Computational Intelligence. Dr. Srivastava has published research papers in peer- reviewed JCR indexed journals, book series, and conference proceedings. His more recent publications have appeared in WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment and Rehabilitation (IOS Press), International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics (Taylor and Francis), Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation (IOS Press), Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier), and International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems (Atlantic Press). Dr. Srivastava has acted as an expert in the selection committee of organizations of repute. He has been on the review board of international conferences, JCR- indexed journals, and book-series. Dr. Srivastava has visited esteemed universities across the globe including NTU, Singapore and University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has carried out research projects funded by prestigious agencies of GOI. He has delivered invited talks and chaired sessions in exalted national and international forums.
