Dr. Ishant Singhal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He received his bachelor's, a doctoral degree from DEI, and a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. His research interests are in 3D printing, Additive manufacturing, and geoinformatics. He is willing to take research problems in different areas. He believes that research in interdisciplinary fields has ample potential and creates wide opportunities for research. He has taught Engineering Mechanics, Structural Analysis I, Structural Analysis II, and geomatics. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals, book series, and conference proceedings. He has also filled Indian patents. He is a member of various teams of the institute. He is also the course coordinator for MOOCs IIRS-ISRO. He has received grants from various agencies such as MoE, AICTE, and TEQIP III for R&D projects. He has received medals for securing the highest marks in B.Tech. (DEI) and M.Tech. (IITD).
