Ms. Divyanshi Sharma serves as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Civil Engineering, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. With a robust academic background and five years of teaching and research experience, she has established herself as a dedicated educator and researcher. Ms. Sharma completed her undergraduate degree in Civil
Engineering with a specialization in Architectural Technology at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI). She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sustainable Construction Materials at DEI, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). Her research interests are diverse and encompass Insulating Sandwich Composite Panels,
Utilization of Industrial Waste in Construction, Energy Efficiency in Building Design, Material Science, Building Envelopes, Sustainable Building Construction Materials, and Structural Engineering. Ms. Sharma is passionate about developing innovative techniques and addressing challenges in these areas. In her role as an educator, she teaches subjects related to Architectural Technology, including Basic Principles of Architectural Design and associated laboratory courses. Additionally, she has instructed Structural Engineering subjects such as Elements of RCC Design in Diploma-level Civil Engineering programs and Structures II and Structures III in Bachelor of Architecture courses. Ms. Sharma has also contributed to the academic community through her research, having published papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented at various conferences. Her commitment to both teaching and research highlights her dedication to advancing the field of Civil Engineering.
